The fourth China-Central and Eastern European Business Association Cooperation Conference took place in Ningbo, organized by the Ningbo Municipal Government and hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The event saw the participation of foreign government officials, business representatives, and entrepreneurs, along with leaders from 50 domestic trade promotion agencies. During the conference, initiatives for international cooperation and liaison offices were established, resulting in over 270 on-site cooperative achievements.

The Fifth China-Central and Eastern European Business Association Cooperation Conference, along with the inaugural ‘Belt and Road’ National Business Association Ningbo Alliance Summit, was held. The theme of the conference and summit was ‘Sharing New Opportunities in Belt and Road Construction, Building a New Platform for International Economic and Trade Cooperation.’ The event saw the participation of over 500 representatives from business associations, cities, and countries along the ‘Belt and Road,’ including the ECETU and more than 40 domestic trade promotion agencies.

The Chengdu International Railway Port Management Committee’s office in Central and Eastern Europe was officially established in Prague, marking its first office in the region. The office will represent the Chengdu International Railway Port Management Committee and focus on investment promotion, external publicity, the construction of the Rong-Europe Express overseas node and overseas warehouses, as well as fostering cultural, educational, and tourism exchanges and cooperation between Chengdu and the Central and Eastern European region.
